As a sculptor, I see my world in three dimensions. This vision shapes my thoughts and my work. I create my three dimensional reality by manipulating a variety of media and found objects. My work is personal, shaped by my impressions of the world around me and molded by my hands. Each new beginning is a challenge, informed by my senses and referenced by the natural world.
The process begins with my laying on of hands, touching and forming my pieces by involving every part of myself. This work moves me deep into my being as I enter on a journey of discovery. This new journey, impressed by my senses and transformed by my hands, becomes a new creation that mirrors my life, my connections, my passions and my loves. My life experiences inform my work; my art and my life evolve together.
