I am an emerging artist who uses pointillism to create landscapes and cityscapes. The works typically take many hours to complete (some over 300 hours), and are done with fine point ink markers on paper. My work has been inspired by the students I work with as an administrator at Columbia College Chicago. Using pointillism, I create transformative works that challenge the observers’ concept of perception: as the works are just collections of over 100,000 points of color. I also create portraits and landscapes using acrylic paint in a cubism styling.
