My work has been inspired by observations of architecture, nature and life. Watercolor and acrylic paintings and pencil drawings are included in my web site galleries of gardens, flowers, animals and architecture. I am interested in working with intimate sizes that express color, form, texture and in the light that influences these elements. Some of my previous work expressed an interest in nature as related to the Greek Influences of early Chicago architecture. Currently, I am interested in painting “plein air” and collaged images of these motifs.
