Nowadays people in the city are so stressed out. We live in a world of grey cubicles, with high-tech computers, and can capture images in seconds, yet still we hunger for beauty, authenticity and fine art. Advertising images bombard us in magazines and billboards, but they do not share the essence of the artist, the creator.
For me, painting is not trying to match the reality, copied perfection of nature. It is something unique, individual, and communicative between a piece and viewer, through an artist’s mind and hands.
I like to work with a variety of styles, depending on my feelings or inspiration: abstract, rural and urban landscapes, flowers…
