My work is a meditation on stillness. Stillness is fundamental to our beings’ allowance of time and clarity for introspection. I meditate prior to beginning each piece to access my intuition in creating a harmonious space.
Focused highly on process, I use multiple layers of translucent pigment and scrape off paint to create the subtleties apparent in my work, thereby manipulating a space open for the viewer to contemplate.
