Originally from Bulgaria, Dessi found her love in beautiful Chicago, which has been her home for almost 15 years.
In her cityscapes she celebrates the glamor, architecture and spirit of the windy city, and gives back to it through vibrant and bold colors.
Her most recent line of Buddhist and Asian themes has been an inspiration from her travels to Japan, China, and Thailand. The Buddha face is represented with traditional features but in a creative way with powerful colors to produce emotions of peace, wisdom, and eternity.
