My work is a conflation of two ideas: conflict and space. Compositions are built by forcing two opposing ideas together. Through this “push-pull” process, some pieces begin to conform to the “whole” of a finished image, while others rebelliously seek precedence; thus creating a sort of harmony out of the conflict.
