I am a Florida-grown artist, painter, and illustrator based in Chicago. I graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2016 with a degree in Illustration. I have exhibited my work across the United States and abroad, from Chicago’s Line Dot Editions to 10 Corso Como in Milan, Italy.
My work chronicles a life-long journey contending with mental health disorders. I use the human figure as a means of externalizing the covert aspects of mental illness. Amidst the chaos, absurdity, and violence of their situation, the figures remain strong, nurturing, and tranquil. I aim to remind others struggling that their painful endeavors deserve to be acknowledged without judgement.
