Carrie Iverson

Carrie Iverson is a printmaker and glass artist who often combines both media into multi-part installations. She received a BA from Yale University and a MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She currently maintains studios in both Chicago, IL and Portland, OR. Her work is in many private and public collections, including The Art Institute of Chicago (Chicago, IL), Brooklyn Museum (Brooklyn, NY), The Museum of Modern Art, (New York, NY), and Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago, IL).

“Much of my work is preoccupied with how memory is processed and recreated, both physiologically and aesthetically. Through prints, glass, painting and installations, I try to dislocate seeing by isolating images suggestive of multiple interpretations.”
