My practice and research involves the everyday experience of resignifying or remolding visual material as one processes advertisements, newspapers and online jpegs. Although these images are seemingly static, their inherent messages or codes are constantly evolving. This is why I frequently recycle images, using silkscreen or Xerox techniques. I am also interested in incorporating images that have been affected by external conditions; how a physical glitch or stain can be used as a ‘found’ object.
